Relative Positioning

In Matterport Workshop, create a copy of the project you want processed. We work only with that copy, so your original project remains online and unchanged.

Admin Project Transfer

Transfer the duplicate to our secure processing account using the Project Transfer Guide. The transfer is initiated by an account administrator, so we process only a project copy provided through your account.

Receive Your Files

Within 48 to 72 hours, you receive a complete panorama dataset that has been individually quality-checked. The files are standard JPEG panoramas, precisely leveled and ready to import into 3DVista, Pano2VR, or other compatible software.

Your project copy is permanently deleted from our processing system after delivery.

16K Native was built from real project work, not as a generic export tool. I work with Matterport, laser scanning, and spatial documentation on commercial and institutional projects, and I built the service because I needed this output in my own workflow.

The processing engine is developed and maintained in-house. Scan positions are generated from captured sensor data and corrected using the camera's recorded orientation angles, not visual estimation or AI-based horizon detection.

16K Native is operated by Dimension3 GmbH, the company behind my commercial scanning and documentation work. Every project follows a controlled in-house workflow, from project transfer to delivery, and every dataset is checked before it leaves our system.

Both are generated from native 16K source data. Performance Standard delivers 12K output with smaller files and faster loading while remaining significantly sharper than standard 8K exports.

Production Master delivers full native 16K detail for maximum tour quality. Archive Master also delivers 16K output, but with the horizon correction baked into the image pixels for viewers and records that should not depend on EXIF metadata.
EXIF-embedded leveling stores the correction angles in the panorama metadata. Software and platforms that read panorama orientation data can apply the horizon correction without modifying the image pixels.

Pixel-baked leveling, used in Archive Master, applies the correction directly to the image pixels. The panorama displays horizon-corrected even in viewers that ignore EXIF metadata.
Yes. Matterport scan positions include scan-layout data that preserves their relationship to each other. In compatible tour software, the scan group can arrive already arranged, which reduces manual placement and helps you connect panoramas faster. This is not the same as real-world map alignment or north calibration.

Native scan-position processing is offered for Matterport Pro2 and Pro3 projects. Projects captured with Matterport Pro1, BLK360, iPhone or iPad capture, or third-party camera integrations are not supported for native scan-position output because the resulting panorama quality does not meet the standard of this service.

360° Images attached to supported Pro2 or Pro3 projects are included in the delivery. Pricing tiers are based on Matterport scan positions only.
No special software is required to open the files. The delivered panoramas are standard JPEG files. For tour production, software such as 3DVista, Pano2VR, Kuula, KRPano, and Marzipano can use the files in professional workflows.

Production Master and Performance Standard use EXIF-embedded leveling. Archive Master uses pixel-baked leveling, so the horizon correction is visible even in viewers that do not read EXIF orientation data.
Standard delivery is 48 to 72 hours after we receive the transferred project copy. Processing time depends on project size, selected product, and current queue. For time-sensitive projects, contact us before ordering to confirm availability.
The project duplicate is permanently deleted from our processing system after your files are delivered. Your data is used exclusively to generate your ordered panoramas. We follow data minimization principles in line with GDPR requirements. Your original project is never accessed. We work only with the duplicate you create and transfer.
16K Native is operated by Dimension3 GmbH. We process a project copy transferred by an account administrator and purchase the required source data directly from Matterport for every order. Your original live project remains untouched, and you receive a VAT-compliant invoice with every delivery.
