Some third-party tools attempt to reconstruct panoramas by capturing tiles from Matterport's web player. 16K Native wasn't built by a software company that stumbled onto Matterport. I built it. I operate a Pro3 on active commercial projects, I teach spatial documentation and 3D scanning at university level, and I spent years wanting exactly this — and not finding it anywhere.
